the challenge
The sale of Advance Asset Management and the transfer of BT Super to Mercer was an 18 month project, and one of the conditions of the transaction was that all 350 employees would transfer to Mercer.

Throughout 2022, and up until the transfer date in April 2023, our consultant worked with the HR project stream to keep the employee group informed and engaged about the project and its progression.
We supported employees through the creation of:
an intranet site containing all information about the sale, Mercer, benefits and employment conditions and FAQs.
content about their new employer – executive spotlight articles and videos of their new workspaces, employee action groups and culture and benefits for the fortnightly Move to Mercer newsletter.
a series of joint Town Hall meetings with the executive teams of BT and Mercer to inform and reassure the employee cohort.
templates and a calendar for predictable internal communications from the Project Leadership team.
